Warehouse Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Officer to join our Maintenance team at Thiess. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our internal customers and contributing to the efficient and effective running of our Store.

• Comply with all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Manage inbound and outbound goods, ensuring accurate receipting and storage
• Keep the stores in a tidy and safe condition, maintaining a high level of organization and cleanliness
• Issue parts correctly as required by the maintenance team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Run stock reports and determine stock levels, reordering items as required to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Maintain accurate delivery item receipting, ensuring all transactions are recorded and up-to-date

• You will have extensive knowledge of warehousing and logistics within a mine site environment, with a strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
• You will possess exceptional organisational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• You will have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle stakeholder complaints and solve business problems in a timely and effective manner
• You will be proficient in the use of JDE software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• You will hold a Forklift High Risk licence, with the ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
