About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Older Persons Mental Health Service. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to older adults experiencing mental health challenges.

You will work closely with a dedicated team to assess and develop personalised treatment plans, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life for our clients. We offer regular clinical supervision, professional development opportunities, and a supportive culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for consumers experiencing concerns regarding occupational performance
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to promote independence and enhance quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient-centred care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy, entitling registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A genuine passion for improving the well-being of older adults
