Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Instructor to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in Electrotechnology to inspire the next generation of electricians and electrotechnology professionals as an Electrical Instructor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-standard training in the Electrotechnology field using various learning resources and teaching methodologies, including blended and online learning through platforms like Moodle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging, high-quality education to students in both workshops and simulated training settings.
  • Ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Engaging with a diverse student population, including adult learners and school-age students.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' industry experience in Electrotechnology.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (40116 - 22) and minimum Certificate III in Electrical qualifications, along with a current Unrestricted Electrical License.
  • Knowledge of the UEE11/20 training package and experience with PLCs and renewables are advantageous.
Desirable Qualities
  • A broad range of experience across different sectors of the Electrotechnology industry, including Commercial, Industrial, Domestic, and Mining sectors.
  • A passion for developing and implementing inclusive and contemporary teaching methodologies.
