The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive organisation that is proudly making a difference in the transition to renewable energy.

As part of the Corporate Audit Group, you will play a key role in the project assurance of nation-building renewable energy projects, ensuring that the work undertaken is appropriate and complete, and that risks and issues are known and mitigated.

You will have a strong Project Management and Project Assurance background, with at least 15 years of experience in the project space, coupled with a Project Assurance background in high-value, complex projects.

You will run Project Assurance Reviews and Health Checks at different stages of the project lifecycle, remaining impartial and adaptable in a changing environment.

You will have a strong attention to detail, excellent commercial acumen, and well-developed communications skills, with the ability to problem-solve and manage confidentiality and sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run Project Assurance Reviews and Health Checks
  • Ensure project risks and issues are known and mitigated
  • Provide independent assurance on project governance and management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of project assurance policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline, such as engineering or engineering project management
  • Excellent commercial acumen and well-developed communications skills
  • Experience working in an infrastructure and/or energy-related industry
  • Extensive experience delivering and managing engineering infrastructure projects
  • Experience in delivering formal reports and presentations to executive internal and external stakeholders
