We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team as part of the ARC Future Fellowship project on Humanitarian Emergencies & Forced Displacement. This project focuses on enhancing decision-making and program implementation regarding children and young people's protection in displacement contexts and humanitarian emergencies.

Job Description

  • This PhD position involves collecting and analyzing mixed method data from one of the case studies: Europe's hot spots and refugee 'crisis', Horn of Africa emergency, or Myanmar-Bangladesh Rohingya emergency.
  • The research priorities include trafficking, child/early marriages, exploitative/forced child labor, and sexual abuse.
  • You will develop and execute a project aligned with the broader purpose of the ARC Project, aiming to enhance decision-making and program implementation regarding children and young people's protection in displacement contexts and humanitarian emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree with a substantial research component or an equivalent qualification.
  • Well-developed skills in mixed method analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in designing and implementing questionnaires.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
