Job Summary:

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality primary health care services to the community of Murray Island. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with the local healthcare team to deliver comprehensive medical services, including general consultations, immunizations, and chronic disease management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct health education sessions to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in primary health care or a related field.
  • ALS and PALS Certification (in last 12 months)
  • Neonatal ALS Certification
  • MEC/TNCC/REC Certification
  • RAN or RIPRN Certification
  • Understanding Immunisation Certificate
