Job Title: Diesel Mechanic and Field Technician

Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic and Field Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic and Field Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, completing repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and diagnosing and repairing engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a first-class service to our customers
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
  • Diagnose and repair engines
  • Inspect and replace components as required
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Complete required documentation
  • Attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster (FIELD SERVICE only)
Requirements:
  • Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter
  • Experience with heavy diesel products and in field service/workshop environments
  • Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge
  • Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities
  • Valid Australian Driver's license required
