About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Global Commercial Manager to lead our business development efforts across multiple geographies, including emerging markets. The successful candidate will be based in our Welshpool office and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
- Cultivate relationships with industry leaders and engage with senior leadership to align business development initiatives with long-term goals.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in the mining industry or related sectors, with a strong understanding of operational, financial, and regulatory aspects.
- Proven track record in managing business development across multiple geographies, particularly in emerging markets.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing market entry strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Willingness to travel extensively to support global initiatives.
- Experience in diverse cultural environments, with the ability to adapt to different business practices.
- Commitment to ethical business practices and integrity.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling presentations and reports.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft platforms and analytical skills to evaluate complex market data.
