Embedded Software Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled software quality engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing and executing test strategies and plans for embedded software systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our products by identifying and resolving software issues before release.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and scripts for embedded systems and applications.
- Perform thorough functional, integration, regression and usability testing on embedded systems, web and mobile applications.
- Utilize both automated and manual testing methods to validate the performance and efficiency of software and firmware.
- Identify, document and track software defects using agile bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues and improve software quality.
- Experience with advanced test automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of modern testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- A solid foundation in software development principles, embedded systems, microcontrollers and real-time operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C and IoT fundamentals.
- Experience with mobile app testing (iOS, Android) and cloud-based testing platforms.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
