Maintenance Planner Position Overview

At our organization, we require a skilled Maintenance Planner to oversee the upkeep of our mining equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our machinery operates efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance planning for mine mobile plant equipment, preferably with Liebherr Excavator experience. A relevant Trade Qualification and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites are also necessary.

The successful applicant will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities and ensure that maintenance plans and schedules meet company objectives and requirements.

Key duties include:

  • Managing day-to-day and long-term maintenance planning activities
  • Evaluating and escalating urgent repairs to the Supervisor for immediate repair approval
  • Defect management in line with contract requirements

A Current Standard 11 and QLD Drivers Licence are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in maintenance planning for mine mobile plant equipment

• Relevant Trade Qualification

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Work, Excel, and Outlook)

• Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (MEX)

• Current Standard 11 and QLD Drivers Licence
