Job Title: Plant Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Director to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of plant equipment, machinery, and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, engineering, or a related field, with experience in implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs. They will be responsible for developing and managing a robust maintenance program, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and operational lifespan of plant equipment.

Beneath this role you can find key responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Management: Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and improve overall plant efficiency.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, actively enforcing corporate Zero Harm policies and conducting regular safety checks on equipment and building services.
  • Process Reliability Systems: Implement process reliability systems and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving equipment reliability and efficiency targets.
  • Spare Parts and Consumables: Manage the procurement, inventory, and budget control of spare parts and consumables, ensuring effective stock management to support maintenance activities.
  • Capital Expenditure Projects: Lead and support capital expenditure projects related to equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant improvements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Utilities Optimization: Monitor and optimize the use of utilities such as electricity, gas, and water, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure plant compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards through regular safety audits, equipment testing, and asset management processes.
