Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a skilled occupational therapist to join our team in a part-time capacity.

This is an opportunity to work with a diverse mix of patients, including those requiring rehabilitation, acute care, and home visits.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a multidisciplinary environment and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Job

  1. Work across various inpatient rehabilitation cases, including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning, and geriatric patients.
  2. Care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation patients, cardiac rehabilitation patients, and conduct home visits.
  3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and efficient services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least one year of acute hospital experience.
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously.
  • Sound knowledge of My Aged Care systems and referral process.
