Security Engineering Manager Position

About the Role

This senior leadership position is focused on delivering innovative Application Security solutions for our large-scale, cloud-native and SaaS application stack. We are seeking a visionary leader who can drive technical decision-making support to their team in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Application Security solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams to ensure seamless integration of security best practices.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team by investing in growth and development opportunities, and providing mentorship and coaching to engineers.
  • Mentor and guide engineers in designing secure systems and applications that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Build and grow a team of world-class engineers who are passionate about delivering exceptional results.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding expectations.
About You

We're looking for an experienced leader who has a proven track record of driving engineering or security teams and growing people from all levels. If you have experience in cloud-based environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and a working knowledge of broad infrastructure functions, we'd love to hear from you.

  • At least 5 years of experience leading engineering or security teams.
  • Strong technical background with previous experience as a Software or Security engineer.
  • Demonstrated expertise in vulnerability management practices and cloud security architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
