Newmont Corporation, a leading gold mining company, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Officer to join its Commercial Department. This is a fixed-term position based in Orange, NSW, with a 7D/7X/7N/7X roster.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Enforce efficient processes for returns, rotables, and waste management, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and accounting of materials using SAP system.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Encourage the use of SAP system for inventory management and work planning, facilitating the careful handling and precise administration of material goods in alignment with company protocols and guidelines.
- Material Handling: Manage materials goods in accordance with company policy, ensuring timely delivery of scheduled parts through efficient kitting and staging process.
- Stock Management: Complete stocktaking as per audit requirements, maintaining up-to-date returns onsite and at the warehouse.
- Operational Improvement: Support continuous improvement of operational processes, focusing on maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing compliance with standard work procedures and safe systems.
- Forklift License: Essential for the role.
- Previous Experience: Previous warehousing and mining experience is highly desirable.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently, with excellent communication skills.
