Part-time Childcare Educator Required

We are seeking a reliable and experienced educator to work with a 7-year-old child on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be required to take the child to school, which is located across the road from the family home.

The role involves working approximately 14.5 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The shifts will be divided between 6am-9am and 3pm-6:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality childcare services to the assigned child.
  • Establish a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes the child's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the child's interests and needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the child's parents or guardians to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain accurate records of the child's progress and activities.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Children's Services or working towards.
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Blue Card and Police Clearance.
  • Liability insurance (once successfully placed).
  • Medical Clearance.
  • Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years).
  • ABN (this role is for a self-employed/contractor).
  • Photo ID.
  • PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this).

  • HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (required).
