Senior Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to oversee the delivery of high-impact projects across various sectors. As a technical authority, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of complex engineering designs and processes.

  • Lead the development and implementation of engineering design systems and processes.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
  • Oversee the sign-off on technical outcomes and ensure design integrity.
  • Represent the business in high-level client meetings and provide technical solutions.
  • Drive the verification, audits, and process improvements of design processes.
  • Oversee device and material selection and procurement.
  • Identify team skill gaps and support professional development.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and promote a strong safety culture.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in control systems engineering design, leadership, and commissioning within the Mining/Resources sector.
  • Strong technical leadership and people management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of PLC (Rockwell) and SCADA (Citect). Siemens, Schneider, GE PLC, or Ignition SCADA experience is also highly regarded.
  • Experience working with major clients is highly regarded.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and analytical skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering, an Australian driver's license, and full working rights in Australia.
