Stockroom Associate Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Stockroom Associate to join our team in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain a well-structured stockroom setup, adhering to global guidelines and policies.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment for all store associates and customers.
  • Responsible for stock transfers, send outs, and take ins, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
  • Manage and achieve/exceed inventory and shrink goals.
  • Prepare and execute stock takes and audits.
  • Train employees on stockroom processes.
  • Identify and communicate merchandise opportunities to management.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality industry.
  • Previous stockroom experience in a fast-paced retail environment with a results-driven track record.
  • Self-motivated and willing to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to listen and use feedback constructively.
