Job Title: Complex Care Support Worker

The role of the Complex Care Support Worker is to provide high-intensity daily supports to a teenager with complex care needs.

The successful candidate will have experience in providing personal cares, peg feeding, medication management and diabetes support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care to support the client's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Managing challenging behaviours through positive communication strategies and de-escalation techniques.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive progress notes to inform future care planning.
  • Working collaboratively with an experienced team to achieve positive outcomes for the client.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid NDIS worker screening card or willingness to obtain.
  • A valid working with children screening card or willingness to obtain.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination in line with QLD public health orders.
  • A current QLD driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

This is a casual opportunity with consistent rosters available on a 2-3 shift per week basis. Shifts start at 3 hours per shift, with opportunities for increased hours for the right candidate.
