About this role
We are seeking passionate and skilled mental health professionals to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in a remote island community. This temporary full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with individuals with complex mental health needs, delivering high-quality care through evidence-based practices.
Key responsibilities:- Deliver intake, assessment, care planning, and therapeutic interventions for individuals with complex mental health needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide culturally responsive care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community members
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, occupational therapy, or social work, and current registration with AHPRA or AASW
- Experience in mental health clinical care, preferably in a rural or remote setting
- Ability to travel by light aircraft and stay overnight as required
- Compliance with Vulnerable People Declaration (VPD) requirements and working with children checks
