About the Litter & Traffic Control Officer Role

This role requires a highly motivated and proactive individual to maintain the cleanliness of our Resource Recovery Centre and surrounding areas in accordance with environmental regulations.

You will work closely with other teams to ensure smooth traffic flow and observe waste disposal practices. This includes directing traffic, assisting the public, and promoting recycling practices.

Key responsibilities include litter collection, maintaining office spaces, mowing grass, and performing traffic control duties. You will also engage with the public to encourage recycling and assist with unloading recyclables.

In addition to these tasks, you will be required to ensure only allowable wastes are deposited into the transfer station.

We are seeking an individual with a strong commitment to safety, who is willing to work in a fast-paced environment. A vehicle licence and first aid skills are highly desirable, while a White Card is mandatory.

Key Requirements:

  • Vehicle licence (Highly desirable)
  • Level 2 First Aid (Desirable)
  • White Card (Required)
