We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a full-time, permanent Kitchen Hand on a full-time basis.
This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Main Responsibilities:
- The orderly storage of all supplies and equipment.
- Following receipt of goods procedure and rotating stock accordingly.
- Providing assistance with basic food preparation as directed by the chef.
- Cleaning and maintaining all designated kitchen areas, appliances, utensils, and tools.
- Removing all garbage/recyclables from the kitchen area to the designated waste area.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and operating industrial floor cleaning machinery.
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with the executive chef and suppliers.
- Assisting in setting up and breaking down mobile kitchen equipment and trestle tables for events.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and a reliable attitude. They must also have a strong desire to provide exceptional service to clients, partners, and colleagues.
