In this position, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality Speech Pathology assessments and interventions that are evidence-based and focused on solutions.
  • Manage a diverse caseload with complex and varied requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients of all ages, their families, and caregivers to identify strengths, skills, and objectives.
  • Utilize appropriate assessment tools and techniques to evaluate strengths and developmental areas, facilitating the identification of effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide therapy across various settings, including centers, schools, group homes, residences, and through telehealth services.
  • Exemplify and uphold Northcott's core values: 'innovative, respectful, and brave'.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience in delivering evidence-based therapy to pediatric, adolescent, and/or adult populations.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and associated administrative tasks independently and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with the NDIS framework and experience in a fee-for-service model is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Possession of a WWCC (Blue Card) & NDIS worker Screening Clearance.
  • First Aid Certification, including CPR.
