The Opportunity

We are seeking an Apprentice Panel Beater to join our team at National Truck Repairs.

As an Apprentice Panel Beater, you will work under the guidance of experienced Panel Beaters to learn the skills and techniques required to produce high-quality finishes on heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Panel Beater at National Truck Repairs, you will learn:

  • Repairing and replacing damaged bodywork on trucks, buses, and trailers using welding and cutting techniques and specialized equipment
  • Disassembling vehicles
  • Labeling parts and storing them accordingly
  • Checking new parts for correctness and damage
  • Reassembling vehicles as per Job Sheets

You will be required to:

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate PPE is worn at all times
  • Handle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and in a workable condition
  • Complete all course theory work by the due date as required
