Communications Advisor Role

As a Communications Advisor, you will play a vital role in delivering clear and effective communication strategies to support project objectives and strengthen relationships with stakeholders, community members, and internal teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of the Beveridge to Albury (B2A) Tranche-2 project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement communication plans to support project delivery.
  • Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and media representatives to provide timely and accurate project updates.
  • Assist with preparation of communication materials, including newsletters, media releases, fact sheets, and social media content.
  • Coordinate regular photography opportunities to capture progression of works and milestones.
  • Coordinate events, community engagement activities, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain alignment with our brand and communication guidelines.
  • Support internal communications to ensure teams are informed and aligned with project developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar communications or stakeholder engagement role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community groups, local councils, and media.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
