Job Title: Night Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Supervisor to lead our operations at the Tullamarine cross-functional facility in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee night shift activities, ensuring accurate workflow planning, timely data processing, and maintaining training compliance for the team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for night operations, stepping in for the Workflow Coordinator and other administrative staff when necessary.
  • Provide efficient and effective customer service through the fielding and resolution of queries from customers, carriers, and related parties to ensure business continuity.
  • Enhance the work environment through effective communication and development of team members.
  • Ensure 2IC transactions for inbound and outbound orders are processed nightly.
  • Provide timely and accurate information for the weekly generation of financial reporting, billing of customers, and payment of employees.
  • Monitor customer orders to ensure warehouse activity aligns to workflow requirements.
  • Assist other Linfox office personnel with their duties as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Actively promote behaviors that support the Linfox vision of an injury-free workplace.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supervising night shift operations, excellent leadership skills, and a background in compliance and training within the FMCG or logistics industry.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft and SAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • LF license is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, including active listening, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, patience, empathy, impartiality, negotiation, and clear, concise communication.
