Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dam safety strategies to ensure the integrity of our water infrastructure
- Conduct geotechnical and structural assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement dam projects, including embankment and concrete dams
- Provide technical expertise to clients and stakeholders on dam safety and risk management
- Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in dams engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil) or higher qualifications
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status or equivalent Chartered Engineer status
- Knowledge of design of a broad range of dam types, including embankment and concrete dams
- Experience working in multi-disciplined teams, including geologists, structural engineers, hydraulic engineers, hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical engineers
