Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer to join our Revenue Fraud Prevention team.

This role is focused on developing and deploying fraud detection models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and shaping our fraud ML strategy.

You'll work closely with backend engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build and iterate on fraud prevention strategies.

As part of this team, you'll develop a deep understanding of our business and how to exploit it for monetary gain.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
  • Collaborating across the ML lifecycle – from data wrangling to evaluation and model iteration.
  • Operating strategically, shaping what should be built, and navigating ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Building complex internal tools and user-facing flows at scale.
  • Thinking deeply about adversarial scenarios, edge cases, trust, and user intent.

Requirements:

  • Built and deployed machine learning models in production environments (preferably for fraud, abuse, or anomaly detection use cases).
  • Comfortable working across the ML lifecycle – from data wrangling to evaluation and model iteration.
  • Operate strategically—not just building what's asked, but shaping what should be built.
  • Strong product sense and empathy for both internal and external users.
  • Strong communication skills to align cross-functional teams and drive clarity in chaos.
  • Hands-on experience building complex internal tools and user-facing flows at scale.
  • Fluent in Python and familiar with tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.

The Revenue Fraud Prevention team is a platform team responsible for understanding how we attract fraud and finding effective ways to manage fraud that support our long-term growth.

Our team works closely with other teams around the company, helping them achieve their goals while maintaining the integrity of our business.
