Job Title: Salesforce Tester

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and test Salesforce solutions within an Agile delivery framework. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining automated and manual test scripts, ensuring quality assurance for Salesforce implementations, and supporting the automation, testing, and CI/CD frameworks.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure early testing.
  • Perform all test management activities, including test planning, test case writing, defect logging, and tracking, and creating effective test data.
  • Conduct system, integration, functional, regression, UI, and production verification testing.
  • Provide test status reports covering test coverage and test results.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to review application process defects and recommend corrective action.
  • Develop scalable automated test cases in the regression pack using the existing automation framework based on Groovy (Geb-Spock).
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects.
Requirements
  • 5 to 7 years of testing experience in Salesforce applications, preferably Salesforce Services Cloud, Salesforce Classic/Lightning, associated integration (Mulesoft), and Salesforce connectors.
  • Experience in conducting manual and automation testing of Salesforce applications.
  • Experience in test planning, test execution, and management of defects and test reports.
  • Strong understanding of customizable features built into the Salesforce solution.
  • Good working knowledge of Apex.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC principles and software development lifecycle, including Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies.
  • Experience working on enterprise-wide implementation and roll-out of software.
  • Experience utilizing tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence for test planning, execution, and defect management in an integrated environment.
  • Experience in testing of REST Services/SOAP web services and web applications.
  • Experience in writing test cases in automation frameworks based on Java/Groovy/Selenium.
