POSITION OVERVIEW
We are in search of an HSE Advisor (FIFO site-based) to support Aerison's health and safety initiatives in the field and to advocate for the utmost safety standards for our personnel on site. This role is offered as a casual contract with the potential for transition into a full-time position.
- Assist with daily Health and Safety operations on site.
- Facilitate toolbox talks, prestart meetings, and daily inspections.
- Collaborate with Site management and supervision to develop Risk and Hazard registers.
- Conduct or oversee Health and Safety inspections on site.
- Lead site inductions and training sessions.
- Investigate hazards, near misses, and incident reports while managing risk.
- Provide training to personnel on Safety Management Systems and site safety protocols.
- Communicate Health and Safety issues to QHSE Management and site workers.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Proven experience in conducting safety investigations.
- Thorough understanding of OHS and Mining Legislation.
- Background in Incident Investigation & Risk Management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to engage with all levels of staff and management, both internal and client-based.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- Minimum Certificate IV in OH&S or equivalent qualification.
- Valid C Class Driver's Licence.
