Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Head Coach and Facility Manager to oversee the operations of our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee club operations to achieve profitability while ensuring a secure, well-structured, and inclusive environment for practitioners of all proficiency levels.
• Instruction of all types of classes.
• Training and supervision of Trainee Instructors.
• Maintenance of equipment, mats, and training areas.
• Implementation of safety measures and security protocols.
• Management of staff and gym facility.
• Addressing member inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Organizing social events, workshops, and activities to foster a sense of community among gym members.
• Management of facility maintenance, equipment purchases, and operational expenses.

Requirements:

• Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and Certificates III and/or IV in fitness, health and physical education, nutrition, marketing, sports management, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Coaching certifications: ICT Certificate.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• At least 2 years of FT experience as an assistant coach or instructor in a BJJ gym.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Previous experience in facilities management, preferably in a sports or fitness setting, is highly valuable.
