As a Youth Support Specialist with our organisation, you'll play a key role in helping young people overcome challenges and achieve their goals. You'll be working closely with a dynamic team to tailor services that meet the specific needs of each young person.
- Mentor and engage young people, guiding them through life skills development and personal growth.
- Role model positive behaviors, emotional intelligence, and social responsibility.
- Empower youth by encouraging their active participation in decisions that impact their lives.
**What You Bring**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Diploma in Youth Work or a related field (or be willing to obtain one).
- Demonstrated experience in youth services or residential care.
- A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and a commitment to cultural competency.
- A trauma-informed approach to working with young people facing significant challenges.
