About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lecturer to join our team at Everi Pty, specializing in Tourism and Event Management. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, research, and industry engagement in this field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Design and deliver engaging courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, enhancing the curriculum to meet industry needs.
  • Research and Innovation: Conduct high-impact research, publishing in top international and national journals, and fostering industry connections to drive innovative research and work-integrated learning.
  • Industry Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, informing research and teaching to meet industry needs.
  • Academic Leadership: Contribute to the development of academic programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • PhD in Tourism/Event Management or a related area.
  • Proven record of teaching and research at Senior Lecturer level.
  • Evidence of designing and developing new curricula, with an emphasis on work-integrated learning and authentic assessment.
  • Evidence of successful engagement with industry stakeholders to inform research and teaching.
  • Experience in teaching management and/or marketing.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of $138,079 - $159,217 +17% superannuation, as well as additional benefits and extras.
