Job Title:

An experienced professional is sought to fill the position of Land Use Investigation Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating complaints related to land misuse in a local government area.

  • Key responsibilities include assessing and investigating breaches of relevant legislation, providing information and advice to stakeholders, negotiating compliance, and maintaining accurate records.

This role requires strong analytical skills, organisational abilities, and effective communication skills to facilitate outcomes aligned with both council and customer interests.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with town planning legislation, investigation fields, or compliance enforcement, and possess tertiary qualifications in town planning and/or investigation fields.

A C Class Drivers Licence and ability to undertake role-specific psychometric and physical functional capacity assessments are also essential.
