Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher

Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Teacher's Registration (FULL/PROVISIONAL).
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • Deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual children's needs and interests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively with other educators, support staff, and families to create an inclusive, responsive, and respectful learning environment.
Desirable Experience and Knowledge
  • Prior experience in teaching in early childhood settings.
  • Ensuring an inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
  • Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
  • Engagement in ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools used for children's documentation and parent communication.
