Your Role

  • Lead the Educational Program: Ensure the program adheres to the agreed centre philosophy as well as the Code of Conduct.
  • Organize the Environment: Organise the indoor and outdoor environment, including the safety and rotation of equipment.
  • Transition Times: Ensure that transition times are smooth, calm and purposeful.
  • Implement the Kids First Early Years Model: Support the implementation of the Kids First early years model - full training provided.
  • Educator Support: Educators will support the Early Childhood Teacher to innovate, develop and implement the educational program.
  • Partnership Work: Work in partnership with children, families and the community.
  • Child Development: Encourage the development of self-esteem and promotion of self-expression, creativity, security, independence, happiness, and the opportunity to achieve.
  • Ongoing Development: Access ongoing professional development focused on relational pedagogy and trauma-informed practice.

About You

  • Qualifications: Diploma (educators) or Bachelor (teacher) qualification as recognised by ACECQA.
  • Certifications: Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma Training.
  • Experience: Demonstrated skill and experience working in an early education and care setting.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work in a cohesive team environment.
  • Cultural Competence: Demonstrated understanding and capability for working with diverse communities.
