Job Description:">

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be an integral part of the project team responsible for the construction delivery of allocated projects. Your primary focus will be on the upgrade of mechanical, electrical, civil and process related assets at our Wollongong Treatment Plant.

You will support Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include setting daily, weekly and long-term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labour, materials and resources.

You will also monitor and review costs, invoices and claims for allocated projects, contribute to constructability of a project with respect to design development and undertake tender, evaluation, and award of subcontract procurement packages.

Additionally, you will analyze and use document and record management, progress and project performance reporting, and compliance reporting.

You will manage work and the performance of Subcontractors and self-perform workforce to achieve outcomes.

Liaise and coordinate with all external parties and relevant statutory authorities, managing attendance on site as required.

Contribute to and foster a good safety, quality, environment and community culture with a view to deliver differently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-10 years' engineering experience.
  • NSW Drivers Licence.
  • White Card.
