Press Operator / Sheet Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator / Sheet Metal Worker to join our team.

This role requires the operation of a CNC or NC Press, as well as familiarity with welding aluminium and steel. The successful candidate will have experience working with sheet metal and be able to accurately complete orders based on technical drawings.

  • Bending material up to 6mm in aluminium and steel using a brake press is essential.
  • MIG welding of aluminium and steel parts using 3D drawings / jigs is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background working with sheet metal, including reading drawings for all different types of bending. They will also be able to work to schedule and be on-time, as well as work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all production requirements.

About this role
  • This is a full-time position requiring 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for:
    • Bending and shaping metal components to exact specifications.
    • Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
    • Inspecting finished products for quality control.
Required skills and qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a press operating or sheet metal working environment.
  • Valid safety certifications (e.g. OSHA) required.
  • Familiarity with Quality Control Systems an asset.
