About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Plenti, a dynamic and innovative fintech lender. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in assisting in the management and continuous improvement of our partner lending programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Management: Act as a key point of contact for lending program partners across commercial and operational requirements, ensuring effective communication between Plenti and its partners.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing Plenti's strategic partnership plans and play a role in commercial negotiations for new partner and product development.
  • Project Management: Project manage and deliver commercial projects, defining project timelines, chairing meetings, and ensuring relevant stakeholders are accountable for their area of delivery.
  • Growth Opportunities: Work with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities within partner lending programs and products, including working closely with our product teams to define and prioritize development roadmaps.
  • Performance Metrics: Oversee the measurement and reporting of partnership performance metrics and service level agreements.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships within Plenti to ensure we can deliver on our commitments to our partners.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a financial or professional services business, preferably with experience in banking, consulting, or a high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong and confident written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • A strong academic background with a desire to develop new skills.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to develop and manage relationships across a range of disciplines.
  • Commercial management experience or working knowledge of lending products and experience in a financial services business is a plus.
