The role of a Protection Officer involves providing a secure environment while maintaining alertness and focus. You will be part of a dedicated team that provides exceptional customer service to our clients and builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety of individuals and the security of premises
  • Accompanying visitors around the site as needed
  • Ensuring property is locked and unlocked according to protocols
  • Directing people through the site and providing clear directions
  • Preparing incident reports and communicating effectively with stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current NT Security License and unrestricted Driver's license
  • Certificate 2 or Certificate 3 in Security Operations
  • Physical stamina for extended periods of standing or walking
  • Excellent observational and surveillance skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A current First Aid Certificate

MSS Security offers a competitive salary package, estimated at AU$65,000 - AU$85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
