- Implement Sales Strategies: Identify and implement tailored sales strategies that establish NPE as the preferred supplier to our target market.
- Market Intelligence: Develop and maintain effective systems to capture & monitor market intelligence, customer trends, and competitor activity.
- Meet Deadlines: Meet delivery deadlines to achieve installation dates/deadlines.
- Prepare Quotes: Prepare quotes for client inquiries, purchase order receipting, and other financial activities to accurately record quotations and actual sales data.
- Respond to Inquiries: Respond to internal customer and external supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to both secure and deliver our specialist rental services and associated projects in a timely, safe, and profitable manner.
- Experience: 5+ years in the hire industry as a Sales/Business Development Management position within rental, heavy industry, or resources.
- Client Base: Existing client base or contracts would be considered advantageous.
- Contract Management: Demonstrated experience in contract management.
- Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of equipment and plant range of pumps, generators, or compressors (or similar transferable product knowledge).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Results-Driven: Proven ability to manage outcomes and expectations with senior business leaders and key stakeholders maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Analytical Skills: Results-driven, solutions-focused, and highly organized with a strong analytical capability.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and deliver under pressure to deadlines.
