We are seeking a talented and motivated Journalist to join our team in Bunbury, Western Australia.
This is a great opportunity to work with a leading broadcast media organisation and take another step in your career.
Responsibilities- Generating original daily story ideas for on-air presentations
- Interviewing, writing and voicing skills
- Developing and maintaining contacts in the community
- Research and prepare news reports
- Create an effective and respectful rapport with internal and external stakeholders
You will be responsible for sourcing and writing broadcast news in our vital Bunbury news market.
About YouYou should possess creative mindset with energy, enthusiasm and a strong knowledge base in journalism.
Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience writing news stories
- Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications
- Exceptional communication and written skills
- The ability to work to very tight/ precise deadlines
- An understanding in Broadcast Law Guidelines
