About This Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team at our Darra Repair Service Centre. As part of a major project, you'll be responsible for delivering refurbished units, motors, and generators over a three-year period.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into the mining machines industry in a global business that's progressive and forward-thinking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out AC & DC motor overhauls and repairs
  • Perform HV Motor repair and rewinding
  • Rewind round wire, low voltage motors
  • Rewind DC Armatures and coils
  • Provide technical knowledge and support to the team
  • Demonstrate a high level of commitment to company procedures and safety
  • Supervise and train apprentices and junior staff
  • Communicate with customers
Requirements:
  • Australian-recognized Trade Certificate Level III in Electrical Fitting, Electrical Machine Repairs, and Electro technology
  • Experience in AC & DC motor overhauls and repairs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of low voltage AC motor rewinding and Armature and DC coil rewinding
  • High attention to detail, great communication skills, and a friendly attitude
  • High Voltage Motor Repair and Rewinding
