Job Description

As a skilled plumber, you will be responsible for the installation of plumbing systems in various new and existing commercial buildings. You will work on diverse and challenging projects in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to work alongside Tier 1 construction companies on local projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install various plumbing systems, including hydraulic, civil, fire services and specialized plumbing services
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications to understand project requirements
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as required
  • Assist with coaching apprentices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Plumbing Trade Qualification
  • Minimum of two years experience in the commercial plumbing industry
  • QLD Gas Fitting Licence
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing industry codes & standards
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Safe work practices & commitment to safety
  • Poly Welding Qualification
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Working at Heights
  • Elevated Working Platform (EWP) High-Risk Licence
  • Roofing experience
  • Additional tickets, ie.- Machinery operating tickets (excavator, skid steer), Trades certification
  • Backflow endorsement
  • TMV endorsement
