Broadcast Operations Technician

A key role in our technical team is available for a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join us in Brisbane.

The position involves delivering new radio station infrastructure, maintaining existing sites, and ensuring the smooth operation of our terrestrial radio network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing new radio station infrastructure
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting existing sites
  • Collaborating with a dynamic team to achieve organisational goals
  • Traveling across Australia to maintain and expand our radio network

Requirements:

  • Educated to trade or tertiary level in electronics
  • Knowledge of spectrum analysers, waveform monitors, and related tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience with high and lower power FM and AM transmitters and transmission systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with and experience in satellite technology
  • A commitment to quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards
