Cloud Application Architect Role

We are seeking an experienced cloud application architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS Cloud.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing architecture recommendations based on project requirements and industry best practices, ensuring that the design is fit for purpose while conforming to enterprise architecture principles and related standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop architecture recommendations for cloud-based projects
  • Contribute to development of architectural artifacts such as policies and procedures
  • Promote architecture standards and requirements amongst technology and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure delivery of cloud application architecture services
  • Monitor adherence to architecture standards and procedures

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid Waterfall project methodologies
  • Able to convey complex information to non-technical colleagues in a clear and concise manner
  • Logical approach to problem-solving and complexity disaggregation
  • Tenacity, patience, and high attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills
  • Team-oriented approach to work
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Math / Science or Information Technology / Business
  • Architect certification like TOGAF is a plus
