Embark on a challenging and rewarding career as a Key Account Manager in our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting some of the world's most critical supply chains in aviation and logistics.
This is not your average desk job - you'll be embedded on-site with a major client, where you'll be the frontline link between operations and customer success. You'll oversee mission-critical shipments (including AOG and engine movements), drive service excellence, and ensure seamless delivery of solutions that keep aircraft flying and customers moving.
Responsibilities- Act as the on-site go-to for a key aviation client, managing import, export, courier, and AOG logistics.
- Deliver Best-in-Class service through real-time shipment oversight and proactive problem-solving.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance, streamlining workflows, and supporting service recovery.
- Build strong relationships with customer operational teams, procurement managers, and logistics stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, DG protocols, ISO standards, and Australian Customs.
- Report on-site performance, KPIs, and operational outcomes directly to senior leadership.
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, aviation logistics, or airline account management.
- Strong knowledge of import/export, courier operations, and AOG logistics.
- A customer-first mindset with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
- A track record of process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent IT proficiency (Microsoft Office a must).
- Current or past Dangerous Goods certification is highly advantageous.
- Self-motivated, organized, and confident communicator able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
