Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, coordinating and delivering programs and projects across East Gippsland, Wellington & Latrobe areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sport & recreation program delivery, project management, stakeholder engagement and a passion for sport and active recreation.

The position requires travel across East Gippsland, Wellington & Latrobe to facilitate after hours programs and meetings including some weekend work. Flexible working arrangements are available to meet the needs of our staff and the community we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and reporting of funded work plans.
  • Developing, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the life of projects.
  • Facilitating participation and physical activity opportunities for diverse communities through direct delivery and enabling community-led activities.
  • Building capability within the community sport sector by increasing numbers of coaches, umpires & officials, sport administrators & volunteers.
  • Identifying key issues, gaps and development opportunities across the Gippsland sport and recreation sector.
