Job Title: Water Asset Operator

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Water Asset Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in the safe operation and maintenance of water resource recovery assets.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining plant equipment, with experience in water treatment processes and asset management. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation and maintenance of water resource recovery assets.
  • Monitoring and controlling plant performance to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, quality protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of asset management strategies to optimize plant performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade qualifications (electrician / instrumentation specialist or mechanical) or qualifications in engineering / science or equivalent experience.
  • Current driver's license and your own vehicle with flexibility to travel across various locations within your hub.
  • Experience in production or manufacturing within Water / Wastewater industry is highly advantageous.
  • Computer skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable learning customised software packages.
