This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance professional to be based at our Pakenham Gosnells Quarry. In this key role, you will manage and coordinate all site maintenance activities, ensuring they are performed safely and efficiently, maximising plant availability and utilising resources effectively.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the plant maintenance program to achieve optimum benefits from assets.
  • Liaise with maintenance suppliers to review their performance against site targets.
  • Review and maintain Preventative Maintenance Routines (PMRs), task lists, and scheduled maintenance activities with the Maintenance Planner.
  • Coordinate and chair maintenance meetings with stakeholders to determine action plans for close-out of scheduled and rectification maintenance activities.
  • Maintain equipment inspection sheets, ensuring currency of sheets in use.
  • Complete monthly maintenance forecasts.
  • Contribute to the Annual Budget Plan.
  • Identify solutions to assist in achieving site maintenance goals.

About You

  • A tertiary or trade qualification is preferred.
  • Strong maintenance management and leadership experience in similar environments or related sectors.
  • Credible experience of safety-oriented leadership and ideally a working knowledge of safety management systems, relevant legislation, and regulations.
  • Solid appreciation of preventive management and risk management strategies and practices related to plant and equipment.
  • Experience in a similar quarry environment is ideal but not essential.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined environment to deliver productivity and cost improvements.
  • Competence in required SAP functions.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
