Job Title:

Diesel Technician Manager


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician to manage our team of engineers. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment and maintenance procedures.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of 10-15 people on day and night shifts
  • Maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet
  • Providing support to the rental fleet as required
  • Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong commitment to safety and leadership
  • Significant post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi
  • Prior leadership experience working on a mine site leading a team of 10+ people
  • A high level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
  • A strong analytical mindset and solution-focused attitude

About You:
  • Must have full working rights within Australia
  • A current Australian Driver's License
  • A recognised National Australian Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Fitter
  • Licence to conduct high risk work with dogging, rigging, crane and work platform classifications (desirable)
